Fingers are a wiggling...

Kate continues to improve this week as her fingers on her left hand are now wiggling too and she has full use of her right hand and arm! Also, she now has head control and will be getting rid of the head rest on her wheelchair soon. Please pray for endurance for her during this time of rehabilitation. Please also pray as we are working on getting the right doctors lined up for her rehab when she comes home and for the details regarding school that starts Aug. 11.

Thank you for your faithfulness in prayer!

Katelyn, I have been folowing your every MOVE (get it!??)via the BLOG. I have continually had you in my thoughts and prayers. Remember when you reignited my interest in knitting this last fall? I finally picked it up again right after we spent our day together at UCD and I dedicate every stitch to you as I pray my way along the neck scarf. It has some flaws...it had been awhile since I last knitted and I retaught myself through trial AND error, but I think it is a symbol of how God loves us in spite of our flaws. I hope you will love it as it will be yours when I finish it. I try not to worry and to trust God to care for you. I'm sure you and your family are struggling with that too. Sounds like God has surrounded you with HIS people, answering our prayers and I am amazed at your continued progress! Let me know if you need anything! Jeanette, give Becca a hug for me and tell her I can't wait to see her in Room 312! Janine Shapley
